It is one of the most powerful balneological treatments.Sulfur baths, using the healing properties of sulfur naturally occurring in the mineral waters of Busko Zdrój, help relieve skin ailments, rheumatic diseases and improve general health through anti-inflammatory and relaxing effects.
A sulphide bath strongly dilates blood vessels, causing local redness of the skin, which helps treat atherosclerosis of peripheral arteries. Bathing lowers the level of cholesterol, triglycerides and uric acid, this action is used in the treatment of diabetes and gout. Sulfur introduced into the body is used to synthesize chondroitinosulfuric acid, which is a component of joint cartilage, causing its reconstruction.Due to the slightly alkaline water content, it softens the epidermis and regenerates it. This is the so-called keratoplastic effect, which makes dry skin covered with calloused epidermis soft, smooth and elastic after bathing.
In women, it normalizes the endocrine system. In addition, a sulfur bath has anti-inflammatory, desensitizing and detoxifying properties in case of poisoning with heavy metals: lead, mercury, bismuth and arsenic.
Before using the treatment, remember to remove jewelry due to the reactions of metals and sulfur. It is also recommended not to rinse off with sulfur water immediately after the treatment.
Bathing in our Medical Center takes place in a sitting position at a temperature of 35 -38 ° C, duration is 15 minutes, the number of treatments is determined individually by the attending physician.

A mud bath is a balneological treatment containing primarily humic and fulvic acids, tannins, carbohydrates, proteins, and numerous minerals. It's mainly about calcium, iron and silica. Mud is a type of peat which, due to its numerous properties, is used for medicinal purposes. It has properties including: anti-inflammatory, bactericidal, warming, astringent, regenerative, firming and anti-wrinkle.
Mud baths support the treatment of chronic diseases of the skeletal and muscular system, support post-accident recovery and help reduce swelling. Regular baths eliminate shoulder, lumbar and neck pain. Due to its warming properties, mud stimulates blood circulation. A mud bath also relieves the symptoms of chronic digestive system ailments and supports the treatment of female reproductive system diseases. Rich in aromatherapy extracts, it allows you to relax and fight stress.

Balneology treatment. The healing effect of the bath is related to the properties of sodium chloride and other dissolved minerals. While bathing in brine, the so-called salt mantle, which causes ionic changes in the nerve endings located in the upper layer of the dermis, changing their excitability and thus influencing the activity of the autonomic nervous system, which regulates the functioning of all organs. Bathing in brine improves metabolic processes, cleansing the body of toxins and deposits, and also has an analgesic, anti-inflammatory and relaxing effect. Treatment duration: 4 minutes.
It is a treatment in which a low-frequency magnetic field affects the human body, causing ions in the body to move and resulting in increased polarization of the cell membrane, also known as hyperpolarization. The magnetic field is characterized by high penetration, so its impact reaches deep tissues, accelerating the regeneration of diseased tissues, having anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. Appropriate doses strengthen the metabolism in the body, stimulate collagen regeneration and stimulate bone growth. The effect of the magnetic field leads to improved circulation and better oxygen absorption.

It involves illuminating the affected areas with a low-power laser. The light used during the procedure does not damage the tissues in any way, but regenerates them and inhibits the occurrence of diseases. During exposure, the biostimulation laser stimulates, among others: cell division and the immune system, as well as improves microcirculation and accelerates collagen synthesis.
Treatment duration 6 - 8 minutes
Cold therapy uses cold air whose temperature is up to -32˚C. The air is applied directly to the skin, resulting in deeper penetration and better effectiveness of the therapy compared to home methods of cold treatment, such as ice packs, baths or cooling sprays. Local cryotherapy has analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects. It is recommended for patients with post-traumatic conditions, overload of the musculoskeletal system, and swelling that occurs after fractures or dislocations.

Rheumatoid arthritis,
Psoriatic rheumatoid arthritis.
It is an acoustic wave, defined as a wave of a sudden increase in pressure, aimed at the areas causing chronic pain. Shock wave therapy helps to accelerate the healing process by stimulating blood circulation and metabolism. The shock wave dissolves calcified fibroblasts, increases collagen production, and reduces muscle tension.

It is a therapeutic treatment performed manually using various techniques such as stroking, rubbing, kneading, tapping, shaking and vibration in order to induce reactions in the tissues and organs of the human body. Through direct pressure on the skin and nerve endings, it has a relaxing effect, improving circulation and increasing the elasticity of tissues. It also improves well-being and, depending on the duration of the run, covers larger or smaller areas of the body.
It is a type of pressure massage that stimulates blood circulation and improves lymph flow. Due to its specificity and action, it is most often used in lymphatic stasis. Thanks to its specific methodology and technique, it improves lymph circulation and reduces lymph stagnation, which is visible in the form of reduced limb circumference and reduced swelling.
Treatment duration: 30 minutes
Pneumatic sequential massage is a type of pressure massage whose main purpose is to stimulate lymph circulation, which is responsible for removing unnecessary metabolic products and toxins from cells. It is used to diagnose and treat ailments related to the musculoskeletal system. This is done using various manual techniques, such as massage, stretching, mobilization, manipulation, which help to get rid of pain and regain mobility for people suffering from orthopedic, rheumatological or neurological diseases. Used, among others, in the treatment of patients suffering from discopathy, posture defects or spinal headaches. It is also perfect for treating ailments related to degenerative joint diseases, damage and overload of muscles and ligaments, as well as for people preparing for arthroplasty. Treatments are selected individually for each patient.
Treatment duration: 30 minutes
Exercises selected individually depending on your health condition, with particular emphasis on the accuracy of the exercises performed, both to prepare for some manual therapy techniques and to continue treatment at home and prevent recurrence of ailments. Exercises are performed and dosed individually. These exercises are often performed using specialized equipment, a system of cables, pulleys and rubber bands.
Kinesiotaping can be performed during manual therapy to maintain its effect or as a separate treatment. The therapist applies flexible patches to the patient's body to support and relieve the work of muscles, increasing local blood circulation or protecting torn or overloaded ligaments.
